True Zack that was Freddy's fault for not arguing. I have been around all types of racing for a long time and I would have been arguing if it had been me. As for the other well that might have been what they were thinking but it was heard everywhere oh that car is illegal so isn't that kinda like picking on him too? Not really because ppl (the fans) dont care as much for fred as for jess, because jess was so young and the fans liked that.

Yes the fans like Jesse, but it was some of the racers and other people at the track that were talking about the car being illegal not the fans.

there where no flattop pistons, the early ones had deep dish pistons to keep the compression down with the open head, the latter motors were smaller dished with the closed head, there may be some out there but in the 100 or so motors i've in over the years i've never seen one

I think rad15e would know bout the pistons. Just to show ya who ever made up the chevette rules DOES NOT know what they are doing and typing about..

It was my understanding that a rules meeting took place before the season started and everyone in the class voted for the rules.... right or wrong? So I am not sure what happened on that deal either there was a misunderstanding when everyone voted or something went wrong somewhere.
Now nogard.... Seeing how you think all us TN boys are non driving why don't you bring a car on down and get in, tighten the belts, hang on, and shut up while we will show you just how non driving us TN boys are!!!!!!!!!!

I think they did have a meeting like you say... So whoever showed up to this meeting on the chevette rules behalf, What happend?? Why would you wanna run with rules like these when you could have changed them??

First of all congratulations to Freddy Bandy on the win. He told us in the infield he wasnt mad, that it needed to be shown he was legal, and that he did. Jese didn't race every week, and he didnt win week after week like Freddy has. Like ive said time and time again, people get tired of seeing the same person win every week. It's time for everyone to step up their program and give this guy some competition. That's what ive been working on all season... and the 31 is coming... one day! ;D I was at that rules meeting, and i thought we all agreed on a good set of rules. The wording is what makes this set of rules so confusing. Must be stock before modifications, yet you cant do anything to the crank or rods? That has never made sense to me either.. It is what it is, we just have to do the best we can until the next rules meeting. Ive never been to a track where the rules are strictly enforced and 100% by the book. So it doesnt surprise me that Riverview is any different. Personally, i think they need a techman. Someone who can focus purely on teching the cars. Not saying anything bad about Bo Hall, but he has alot on his shoulders trying to tech and run the race track. Thats about all i got to say on the subject... see ya'll again Saturday night.

So barry you was down there?? If you was then why?? you havent raced once this year..
Also there is no category for an intake.... Here is a rule over the CARBURETOR... 1.Any carburetor that will bolt to a stock Chevette intake....
It just tells you that the carb has to BOLT to a stock chevette bolt pattern intake..
