steven you also need to explain that from 300 up the base circle is not stock and work has to be done to the cam tower

The bottom surface of the cam carrier must be milled .040" to correct the valvetrain geometry due to the smaller base circle of the 300 & up Lazer cams. This is for LAZER cams, i dont know what Elgin or Bullet grinds their base circles to, but i'd imagine its the same. If you have anything other than Lazer, call the manufacturer to make sure.
