Well last night was pretty much a disaster. The track was soaked in places and dry as a bone in others. After 3 hours of packing they tried to hot lap late models and open wheels... You couldn't see anything for the dust and 1 open wheel wrecked pretty hard. So at 9:00 they decided to water the track again... that's about when everyone started packing up and leaving. The techman went around and checked "most" of the Chevettes looking for illegal carburetors. You either look at them all or none, in my opinion. Something tells me that he didn't even know what a Chevette carburetor looks like! lol We passed the visual easily, most don't believe it, but thats the only carb thats ever been on the 22 car... a 5210 Chevette. I guess we'll try it again next week. Hopefully they'll have the track ready to race at 7:00 next time! Special thanks to Radke Motorsports for giving me the opportunity to drive for them! I've not even got to run a race yet, and i'm already having a blast! Stephen Fields

Hey Stephen I don't know why you didn't think they knew what they were looking for. I thought they did a pretty good job. lol
All I know is that I was legal. You seen that, you helped me take the hood off of my car when they check it. I don't know what I had to worry about anyway.

Yep, the 69 was legal, i heard him say it... lol ;D Now that i think about it, i doubt if we will get to run next week, it being the Stormpay Crate race night. Shoot it will probably be June 8 before we get to run again!
