The oil pan thing would work, but the gasket costs $7.99 and the oil costs $30.00. What would you do with the old oil? If you are to drop the pan you should atleast get $50.00 of the protest money to replace these items. It should take another driver to protest a car not the track. The track said they were looking into a weight gain rule for the 4th win, the 8th win and the 10th win to try and equal the field.

I think just no stroked motors and street tires and a chevette motor trans and rearend and has to b a chevette body and chevette suspension and i agree on the 1900 to 2000 on the weight limit

I do like the weight gain rule. Starting off at 2000lb min, Adding 50 lbs every third win in the passenger side.

Thats a good idea and I think they should start in the rear if they win so many races

i agree with stephen fields on the rules for the chevettes at riverview. the only way the class will live is to keep it affordable for the average guy

I talked to Mr. Hall today he said they WILL run a chevette class this year. We just need a set of rules for them. He also wanted to know if we wanted to run slicks? I agree with Fields, but has to be protested by a top 5 driver that night. If you win two in a row the next week you start in the back of the feature. Just throwing things out there. Racing springs and shocks but in stock locations. Whatever you guys think, I wont be able to be there tomorrow. I just want to RACE!!

We can practice with the 370 and see how it goes. I am not sure how big of a difference it would make. A few RPMs maybe?

gonna be a big difference in rpm from a 370 to a 411 hate to say it the thing is to keep everyone coming so the more competitive it is the more they will come back

i was standing in the back at the meeting. i watched about 3 men make the rules. everything they said about a rule there was a vote and they got what they wanted. they must have brought there friends to vote there way that probaly don't even have a car. now, they got the rules to match there cars. there were people voting that didn't even have a car. i raised my hand 1 time before i cought myself. if this class is going to work there must be another meeting with drivers that has a car and is going to race there and they are the ONLY ONES TO VOTE. P.S. a few of us talked to the owner after the meeting, if theres not 10 cars, there wont be a class. my 2 cents

You're not going to satisfy everyone, but it should be drivers or car owners only voting. If you've got your crew, fans, and friends in there voting with you, if you bring enough people you could vote in tube chassis and Esslinger ARCA engines.. lol
Kenny did you ever figure out how to scan the rules? Thats what i would like to see.
Thanks, Stephen
