some of the early ford escorts have the same bolt pattern not sure if they have bigger brakes though, being the escort is front wheel drive it could make a difficult conversion as well.

We run Saturn Ion rotors and calipers on our Chevette. I forget what year.
We cut the stock rotors from the hub, and turned down the OD of the hub and they slip right over. The calipers don't fit as nice. The brackets were more complex than i wanted to make them, but it works. We also run the 15" saturn wheels, but with a 1.25" spacer (adapter) to make up for the FWD high-positive wheel offset.
One problem you'll run into is when you add the 1/4" rotor "hat" thickness, is that the hub centering feature no longer protrudes from the hub, and the only thing keeping your wheels centered is the lugs, which is the wrong way to do it, IMO.

Civic SI rotors will fit once the old rotor is cut off and the hub is lightly trimmed. We mated those to 69 (must be 69 for clearance reasons) chevelle calipers mounted to a 1/2 inch steel bracket we made up. One little detail you need to know is that if you mount the brackets to the front side of the spindle like we did to get the right pad clearance you will also have to face the area around the mounting holes to be flat. Bear in mind that we are running this on a road course with 15 inch basset wheels in pretty high offset too. You will definitely want to check the clearance of the wheels you use if you go this big.

1990 vw corrado rotors (g60) are 4x100 and 11" vented. I used wilwood dynalite calipers 120-6806 as of right now I'm waiting on the 1/4-27 npt adapter and brake lines then i can fab the caliper bracket. I'll attach a photo. You'll need extended studs for the floating rotor the knurl dia is 14.22 i used Toyota studs at 14.20

Nice swap! Thanks for the info! I believe i would top it off with a good aftermarket master cylinder or find something over the counter that would work. The Chevette master cylinders are notorious for leaking and having a spongy pedal even with new / rebuilt units.
If I'm not mistaken, I seen someone who had power brakes, used a Corvette master cylinder. It had the same bolt pattern as the Chevette.

Wilwood also makes a 7/8 bore master cylinder (stock chevette size and is tried and true) with remote reservoirs and many other options. I wouldn't necessarily recommend power brakes, using these calipers on a stock master cylinder raises pedal height and stiffness
