Lake Cumberland Speedway returns May 8th after two rainouts with Weekly Show (Weekly Racing Series Points start) BURNSIDE, KY (May 3, 2010)—After being rained out on April 24th and May 1st, the Lake Cumberland Speedway in Burnside, KY will return to racing action and the first points racing event for all five divisions this Saturday Night May 8th. Local divisions competing this weekend will be headlined by a weekly show of Late Models ($1,000 to win), Open Wheel Modifieds ($500 to win), Super Dirt Stocks, Chevettes and Front Wheel Drives. This will be the first Weekly Racing Series Championship points event of the season. The Gates will open at 4:00 p.m. EST with Hot Lapping slated for 7:00 p.m. EST. On Saturday May 8th, Adult Grandstand Admission will be $12.00 and Children 6-10 admitted for $5.00 while Children 5-under will be admitted Free. Pit Passes will be $30.00. boy i tell ya that inside wall is very dangerous--- not a good move to take out the old wall.. was safety in mind at all? ----JMO
