Red Clay Racing made its debut in the super stock 4 class last night. Red Dust started in the rear of the second heat. Slowly but surely the #20 chevette fought its way to the 3rd position. The checkered flag flew sending Red Dust to a 3rd place finish in his first heat race attempt in the super stock 4 class. As feature time came around, Red Dust rolled onto the track starting in the 6th position. Red Dust fell back a few spots within the first few laps but worked his way back to the 7th position. It wasn't long after that the #20 chevette was plagued by ignition problems again this season. The car finally gave up on him with just a few laps left in the race sending Red Dust to a 9th place finishing position. Red Dust will be off this coming Saturday for a family vacation but wishes everyone and Clarys Speedway good luck this coming weekend. Also Red Dust would like to thank Buddy Isles Sr. and Bigfoot Motorsports for lending a helping hand this weekend. Thanks to the following people and business: Veterans Motorsports, Mechanical Coatings.com, Lucas Wall Coverings, Wilson Starter and Generator, Quality Tire and Alignment, Askew's Lawn Maintenance and Landscaping, House Cleaning by Debra, Dixie Land Imprints, Sign Master Graphix, DP Web Designs, Hair Worx of Wilson, Local Race Chat, Sarge, David, Jason, Hunter, Tim, April, Red Clay Rebel, Ronnie and all of his friends and family for their support.
