Ok guys, i know i dont race chevettes anymore. But I am just here to let you all know I went to Clinton Co. last night to watch the races. I had heard the rumor of Clinton and Burnside cutting the chevettes out next year do to low car count. So I asked C.C owner, he said they where going to if they didnt pick up. Then I asked him, if Burnside was cutting them out and he said Yes. There where 4 CHEVETTES at Clinton Co. last night. Then I also heard last night that Ponderosa is cutting them out next year! So guys if you got cars at home. You need to bring them to the track, support these tracks, or else the chevettes are gone!!!!!!!!

Well that sounds about right. You can talk to your blue in the face still no one will show up. I dont know what else to do, I do know that it is way too hot to race right now. Last Friday there were NO cars in any class at Fairview. Im hoping when the temperature goes down the car count will go up in every class....

If you are thinking about coming to Clinton co we won't start hot laps until 7:30 central. We are also the last heat race and last feature. Heat will be around 8:30. That should give you Tennessee guys plenty of time to get there. We will pill draw instead of qualify.

Usually we are done by 10:30 unless it was a big show like this past Friday. Of course car count will affect it. It is about 1 hour and 5 mins from Cookville up 111.

The rules were originally to be the same as LCS and the pond. They are posted on the ponderosa web site with the exception of racing tires are allowed but I have yet to see anything checked they have the rules pretty much wide open as long as it is a chevette and a chevette engine I don't believe anyone will say anything.
