Dave Hess Jr. Bags Night Before the Heritage
(Peebles, Ohio) Brushcreek Motorsports Complex hosted the seventh annual American Heritage 101 Week End on Friday August 3rd and Saturday August 4th. For the first six years the late model class headlined the unique event, with late model stars Don O'Neal, Mike Balzano and Jackie Boggs (4) taking home brand new American Heritage Harley Davidson for their efforts. However, for the first time in the events history the open wheel modifieds headlined the 07' event.
Forty-nine modified drivers representing five states and one Canadian province signed into the pit area for Friday nights "Night Before the Heritage" with hopes of capturing the $1,000 payday and gaining valuable knowledge they could use in the seventh annual American Heritage 101.
Fort Francis, Ontario's Steve Arpin and Parkersburg, West Virginia's Anthony Huber led the modified feature field to the green.
