4 Speed Gear Ratios Gear Ratio 1st 3.76:1 2nd 2.16:1 3rd 1.38:1 4th 1.00:1 ________________________________________________________ 3.62 = 13 teeth Pinion Gear / 47 teeth Ring Gear The photo below is NOT a 3.62 it is a 3.36, but gives you an idea of the location of the numbers stamped on the ring gear. 3.36 = 14 / 47

Hey Fields, this is what Im coming up with the formula but on the track ( 1/4 ) I am running about 7800 rpm around 60 mph with a 336 gear , I wanted to see if I could bump it up to a 3.62 but something doesnt look right. Am I forgetting something in the formula or doing it wrong
(5280/((215*.60*.0787+13)*.2618))*3.36*2.16*1 = 6322 rpm's
(5280/((215*.60*.0787+13)*.2618))*3.62*2.16*1 = 6811 rpm's
(5280/((215*.60*.0787+13)*.2618))*3.70*2.16*1 = 6961 rpm's
(5280/((215*.60*.0787+13)*.2618))*4.11*2.16*1 = 7733 rpm's
