wen i hit the gas my car hesitates. i run a msd system could that be it??? i got it idled down to 1000 rpm, could it be idled to low?? i run on a 1/8 mile track..

It could be alot of things Zack. Most likely its getting either too much fuel or not enough fuel when you snap open the throttle. Does it miss at higher rpm ranges? Have you checked the color of your spark plugs? Black - Gray - White? Most ignition problems occur at high rpms or all the time.

no problem high rpms. i idled it up to bout 3000 one night and it ran fine. but wen i idle it down it starts that. i took out #1 spark plug looks fine,by the vette book i got..

zack, check the accelerator circuitry your not getting enough gas through it.hope this helps

Is this a Chevette carb. Holley 500 or what? You can PM me if you don't want to post what kind it is. Sounds like the power valve might be too small. If it's a Chevette carb. and it's not been moved already, you might try moving the accelerator pump pin to the middle or bottom hole.

we found wat it was, if i put my hands over the carb it is fine even ided low rev up good.. but i take my hand off it does that hesitation... thanks fields an the best

lol the thing that the filter goes in we put a stock one on it where it surounds it{the filter} gonna put it just like a stock blower ect.

that didnt fix it, but i think i do now i cleaned out the cab
