Does anyone has a stock or still usabe straight runners head for sale?? I'm new to the 1.6 liter modification and I may be wrong but I guess this is the open chamber head. I have closed chamber heads that I'll ship for free if someone want to trade with me.
I'll wait for offers.

I'm from Canada Quebec. I can't go look at it but I'll give you some guide lines. It must have straight runners (no swirl port), open chamber (I guess it's called like this) the one that isn't heart shapped... The part number on the head I have that is like this is #140232343. I have heart shapped chambers heads that have the part number #14071110. I can let them go for sheap if someone is interested. They have higher compression ratio and they won't work for my turbo setup. Let me know what you have.
Does anyone knows how many models it exist?

Hydroli,
You're looking for an open chambered head with casting numbers 151 - 343 - 395 - or 678. All four were used from 1976 - 1980. The 151 and 678 flow the best.

Thanks Fields. I guess your contribution is greatly appreciated here.
You said some casting numers flow better, are the other ones swirl port? Does swirl port only exists on closed chambers heads?

151 - 343 - 395 - 678 are all open chambered heads
The "swirl port" heads were used from 81 - 87 and have the casting #'s 110 or 363. These were closed chambered heads.

It would be great if it was a knowledge data base on the forum where we could write all these tricks when they come to our mind. Just my tought. Does the forum only retain a certain amount of recent posts and flush the older ones? It seems to me that threads like Engine and cie are empty compared to other categories like race tracks and for sale/wanted.

In July the forum had a makeover, adding those specific categories. This forum saves all posts until i delete them.
