Hey Guys, I'm not an asphalt setup expert, but i'll share with you what I learned from my only experience on asphalt. DO NOT drive this track like you do a dirt track! You will end up in the wall or wrecking another car. Smooth is fast, get in a rhythm. Setup is CRUCIAL. Dirt is more forgiving when you miss your setup, asphalt is not. Spend time to scale out your car. Purchase an infered temp gun and take tire temps. You want your tires as close to even as you can get all the way across. It sounds crazy, but i have heard other drivers say it too, don't let completely out of the gas entering the turns. I didn't listen, and the first time i went into turn 1, I let out and the back end came around. Ease out to about 1/2 throttle and back in it about the apex if you're handling good. Remember back in 2001 fast times were 12.8 - 13.0 range. If you're slower than that you know you need to work on it more. If you're faster, you still need to work on it more, cause someone will eventually find the right combination and be faster than you! ;D Take it for whats its worth. What do I know.. i've only practiced there once
