My husband and my brother have been having an ongoing discussion about the cubic inches and horsepower of a stock chevette engine versus a 100 over engine versus a 100 over stroker engine. Can anybody give us any numbers? Also, how much horsepower goes along with those numbers?
He also would like to know where we can get a good micrometer.
Thanks for any info.

Huntley's Performance could give you numbers "if" they give that kind of info out.
To make it short and sweet, Boring and stroking will increase horsepower, however your Carburetor, Intake plenum volume runner length, diameter, cam profile, head port size, valve size, combustion chamber volume, header length and diameter, etc etc etc MUST all work together with the bore and stroke to get the maximum performance out of the engine.

similar to something i did in health class, jog in place or run breathing throught a straw, then do it breathing through your mouth. its always said you need to make your engine breath better for preformance, but the thing is what you take in needs to come out. more intake is needed and when you do that you need to have a good flow out. you need less resistance as possible but in the same token you need so much for the engine to preform. i prolly sound stupid but hey im just trying to help.
