I'm trying to locate parts for a street engine I'm going to be building. I am trying to find a Lazer cam kit but all their contact info leads to dead ends. Also I've heard Lunati makes cams for chevettes as well but I have searched every catalog and website and can't find any info or parts #'s Also heard someone here can direct me to a set of solid lifters I am looking for the 290 grind with #910 springs to put on a 78 head, 60 over bore, and 5 speed trans

Zack, i dont think Comp has ever made a camshaft for a Chevette. Lunati, Bullet, and D Elgin all have made them.
For solid lifters contact Scott Mullis at 513-255-3093
You'll have to call each cam company to get any information. I've emailed Bullet before and never got an email response.

So no Lazer cams at all eh? d**n they actually seemed like they knew what they were doing when it came to chevettes. Does anyone of those 3 companies sell new springs or can new springs be ordered anywhere new?

The owner of Lazer Cams (Bill Metzger) AKA "Cam Wizzard" suddenly died last spring. His family shut down the business .
I have heard the Lazer 910 valve springs were the same as stock valves for a Vega, but i have yet to research that. I don't think any of the cam companies listed above sells valve springs. They might be able to lead you in the right direction though.
FYI: The installed height on the Lazer 910's is 1.300"
