i have a citation with the 2.5 in it and i found cams at compcams and i was wondering if 350 flat tops and rods(longer) will work. this is the tbi version, will the engine run with the cam upgrade? also how different is the 153 crank to the 151. any one have a universal rad. inlet top driver outlet mid/bottom passenger. mine is plugged. another info on parts will help (maybe a carb intake for this engine). i have some parts willing to trade from chevette. like solid lifters oil pumps ect.

what i have found online is
350 flats tops, there stock 5.7 rods small journal stuff ( v6 rods would work) or if you want aftermarket i would guess any small journal 350 rod may work if you machine a chamfer on the flat side of the rod for the crank ( dont quote me on that)
any rockers from a 350 setup even rollers also ive found you can find 3.0l out of boats murcruzers they have the v8 bell housing mount..
i also have a question on thes has anyone tryed to put a v8 head on one. i see kansas racing producuts blocks will work with eather a 350 head or the stok oem head.
also what i have read is thes things are more of a torque monster than a rpm deal.. ive seen some online that make 300+ hp only at 6000 rpm
