I have a feeling this is turning into another Tennessee Motor Speedway. Nothing against Bandy, but when one driver wins week after week, people get tired of seeing them win. Next thing you know they're saying.. I dont have a chance at winning, why waste my money going down there... The car counts dwindle down to nothing, next thing you know you have a 4 - 5 car Chevette class. If it gets down to that, you know they'll put us in with the River Runners. Ive been on both sides of the fence, winning and chasing, but ive been around long enough to see that one person cant win them all and still have a decent field. Again, nothing against Bandy, he's a great guy, dont have a thing against him... Congrats on your win and good run P&K Racing!

Well what I think is, you just have to go home and do your home work and figure out what you need to do to make your car faster. I think some of the problem is you have to work on your car during the week, not wait till Saturday to work on it at the track. The guys that are going fast and finishing up front are more than likely working on their race car during the week. This is not rocket science. Get a book and read about it. Ask for some advice from drivers and crew members from an upper class. I have found that this helps more than anything else. Don't ask advice from someone your running against. Racing a car and trying to win races is a full time job. Until you realize that fact and treat it with that kind of an attitude you will not be as successfull as you could be. I hope everyone will take this advice and use it to better their racing efforts. I wish everybody good luck and success in their racing endeavors.
Thanks, Ron Dodson

i thought the goal was 2 win races that why everybody come 2 the track and i think that 3000 and 4000 dollar motors was what shut down the TMS track and i only have 250 dollar motor in my car and i am all by the rules so i dont wont 2 mess the class up but what am i going 2 do slow my car down so a another car can win every week
thanks justin bandy #17

Those $3000 - $4000 engines was a result from noone teching them. One person got by with it, others followed, and it got out of hand. Keeping the Chevette class affordable means keeping the class ALIVE. Now i didnt want you to take it the wrong way Bandy. What i really meant was if noone steps up to the plate and shows that you can be beat, then alot of people will lose hope. You have raised the bar and everyone else has got to step up their program to be competitive. When it gets to the point where it takes cheating to win or to beat you, then thats where the major problems begin. Ron, you dont have to tell me about homework.. ive got a filing cabinet full of notes just on Chevettes.. lol

Ron is right guys. Do your homework. I met justin a couple of months ago and talked to him awhile. Trust me he has done his home work. Can't fault him for that. Take a look at the dragon cam. I can find things that can be fixed w/ half the cars I saw in the video. That video is a great tool guys. Use it to your advantage. I'll leave it at that. Have fun next week, Remember, have fun.

Fields quit complaining and bring that "outlaw" car to the track. Since u have so many notes u might be able to beat justin. Then he wont be winning all the time...
