Yes I know, you're right. The fact is that I can't place it the other way without modification to the valve cover, choke actuator is in the way. I'll have to change the throttle wire, but I dont think it will change something more than this.
Thanks for your comment!

Doug you oughta recognize that intake. That thing won 22 features... lol One that Robert milled out and reworked the thermostat housing, he opend it up and I ported and polished on that thing for week seemed like. Ahhhh... the good ole days. I ran a Weber backwards a few times on the Z23 car. I had one on that night I was up at Clinton Co. finished right in front of Tony, and the transmission bearing went out. I remember on the starts the only way I could get it in gear was when Tony slammed into me! lol I was hating those yellow flags!!!

Yep, everything was stock off the shelves of Gilreath Racing... lol We had to hire security to keep Houston out of the "Stock Room"

There is enough room for the turbo if it was your question. I found it on ebay, it's been raman.

Thank you very much, I really appreciate your comment, it was hard labor. I didn't had the chance to install it so I don't know how it runs at the moment.
For the technical infos your asking, I suggest you to take a few hours and read what is said on the forum. I think that nearly all important facts have been said already.
From what I red, I can tell you that a chevette rear end will handle 200hp and lets say 200 pounds of torque max... by the way, gear ratio such as 4:11 tends to last longer since the pressure applied on gears is less important that it is with 3:36. Spider gears may be frail, but I can't tell for sure. From my experience, I ran a stock 3:36 rear end with a 305 V8 doing hard burnout, 5 times (one time 50 feet long from one wheel), I did drive/reverse pass with a stock automatic '86 chevette on hot asphalt at 35mph, lets say 20 times, and never had a problem. I don't suggest you to do the last trick, it hurts the car alot, not just the rear end. I was younger and unconscious.
I can take the occasion to tell you how I did my engine esthetic.
- All "grey" parts have been sandblasted and are natural aluminum finish with a high temp clear coat. - Valve cover have been sandblasted as well... but, I had to dismantle and weld back in place the inner shields because they retained sand... so I suggest to find another trick for this part. - Each bolts and nuts have been cleaned with a rotating metallic brush then clear coated before installation (and after...) - Paints used are black and Chevrolet orange/red engine enemals which are from same brand as the clear paint. I specify because mixing brands can involve a compatibility issue. - After every part went back in place, I applied two overall clear coats.
Recently, I installed an adjustable pulley custom made by a member which nick is "rpm". It really looks great by now. I wish I could post more pics of it but I don't have a numeric cam nor the time to go buy one... I'll show more of it in June.
Thanks again and stay tuned for updates.
It would be great that you start a thread showing evolution of your project.
Olivier

A little correction. I just found that I was wrong with the turbo, it's a t25 instead of the 14b. A little smaller than I thought it was but still big enough for my setup. It's coming from a mitsubishi eclipse gsx.

Hi everyone,
I thought that I could let you know what is goin on with my project.
I called a few parts from summitracing: - MSD 48'000volts coil - Racing plugs - Flex-a-lite nylon fan
I will install these later this week, but for now. I'm like a kid on christmass day bacause I will test my engine tomorrow! I can't wait to see how it will do with all the mods I did. There will be no turbo, I don't have time to install it because of my job. I have to be ready 24/7 starting on 1 of june so I will make in sort that it works, nothing to break the engine. I could have installed it before the end of summer but not before mid-august.
I'll post an update soon. I may have E.T. results since I plan to go drag with the car tomorrow night... well today, it's midnight yet... I go to bed.
