ATTENTION!!!! All chevette racers, Clinton Co. Speedway is having a meeting Jan. 5th! At 7:00pm at the race track, To talk to the chevette and frontrunner drivers! As some of you know, Clinton county has made a new bomber class, and I hear that they are going to have to drop a class! or combine the two classes together! So for any of you all that can make this meeting to speak your 2 cents. This might be a save for the Chevettes at Clinton Co. Not knocking down the front runners, but there is alot more chevettes around that part of the country than there is front runners! And a lot of people love the Chevettes!

clinton co.'s chevette and fwd class has been saved ,as long as the car count is hi enought to race,if either class has a light nite on the car count the classes will be run together but scored seperate,so you guys come on out ,this is a great track with a great owner who cares about us racers enought to get into his pocket just to keep from droping a class until he see's whats going to happen-you can't ask for more than that !!!!!!

Thats right!!! Atleast he wants to try to keep and respect the two classes. Like when my dad ran chevettes at beech bend, the racetrack didnt have the respect for the chevettes, thats why every weekend they raced the chevettes were very last! So did they go over any rules or anything or change anything! Is it pretty much open chevette class, run t5 transmissions or what?

The rules are going to remain the same except they put an 1850 pound wieght minimum on the chevettes and there will be no tube chassis. All classes will be weighed. Except the front wheels i think they decided not to weigh them because they are too small to fit the scales. Everybody come out and support this track!! He cares about his drivers and is out to make it safe and fun for us. There arent very many owners that will reach into their own pocket just to make sure we drivers are satisfied at all cost. Come on out guys this is a great track!
