It seems the local parts places are having a tough time coming up with intake and exhaust valves for my '76 head, yes it's one of the good heads. Anybody got a good source? I have some from an '83 head, could they be reconditioned?
I've been working on this build up for a while. The block is done and now if I could just get the head done without a "head"ache.

www.partsamerica.com AE Clevite Intake Valves (Part No. 2112220) AE Clevite Exhaust Valves (Part No. 2112221) If the ones out of the '83 head are in good shape, and haven't been ground on alot (past valve jobs) you can use those. When the machine shop does a valve job, make sure they take the same amount off the valve stem tip as they did the face of the valve. Or have them set the valve stem height to .710" or 18mm. Keep us posted!

I had no idea how spendy valves are. I found a place that will sell me all 4 intake and all 4 exhaust for about $65. I don't think I'll find a better deal.
