i found a rod with almost the same bore as a chevette,
1.6 98 Chevette 76-87 4 1.9296
1.8 110 4XF1/DOHC Storm GSI 16V 92-93 4 1.9291
whats the length and wrist pin size idk.

Storm [ Bore ] [comp] [pin] 224-2976 TC2976 4 3.150 80.00 9.1:1 1.102 2.441 18mm 0.708661'' Chevette
224-2088 TC2088 4 3.2283 82.00 8.5:1 1.288 2.660 0.9055''
maybe a oversized piston from the storm with the rod and wrist pin depending on the length will be a performance up grade.

I've built several engines with aftermarket H-Beam Honda rods.

It's .039" smaller than the Chevette, so you turn down the rod journals. The BE width is the same as Chevette, but the length is around .500" longer, depending on which rod you select. They will give you alot better rod ratio, less side force on the piston which reduces friction.
