That's neat! Looks like it could possibly be a direct bolt on? I've been fooling with Chevettes for 10 years and this is the first i've seen of these heads. Good find Hydroli!

...and I see 10 bolts on the diff. cover at 3'30". At 3'36" I see the torque arm. It could be a 10 bolts from the factory?

Yes, i believe you're right. The head at 6:18 into the video is the open chambered (straight intake runner) head design. The rearend appears to be the same, except the panhard bar mount is on the left side going up to the frame on the right side, which is opposite on the North American Chevettes.

Yes I seen it, as well as in the video. I think that beside this, there's nothing to be afraid of with this model. Everything should fit easily.

The one shown on the main page is a vauxhall chevette. It's coming from Europe. It has a 2.3 engine which has nothing to do with the 1.6 chevette engine. The chevette head's pictures I posted are from a Brazilian chevette, located in south America. There are other models that carry the same engine. There is the Opel Kadett in Europe, the Gemini in Australia and it maybe more, I don't know.
As for the motor, you should take a look at the video link I posted over, it shows the block with the head removed. I think it's almost identical to the North American chevette's 1.6 except for the oil feeding hole that sobeit pointed out.
One thing I would be curious to know is if there's aftermarket racing parts specifically made for this engine in other countries. For example, I know there's a bolt-on turbo kit available from south America. I seen a website where you can buy it. Just typing Brazil chevette turbo on a search engine should bring you to it.

the intake and exhaust correspond to sunbirds so manifolds can easily be retro fitted. this head surface corresponds to the chevette block alot more compared to the sunbird.
